GREAT BRITISH 'TAPAS' MENU, AVAILABLE EVERY FRIDAY EVENING



We are offering a British style ‘tapas’ menu on Friday evenings. Specially selected local and seasonal ingredients produced in small delicate portions to allow a taste of flavours that is perfect for sharing.



This includes one sharing platter of home made bread, cured meats and houmous to share, followed by two starters, two mains and one side per person. £29.95

  • Slow roasted belly of pork, pineapple, ginger and chilli salsa
  • Pan seared scallop, cauliflower puree
  • Pearly barley of roasted apple, squash and sage
  • Potted salmon brandade, filo and black pepper tuille
  • Soft boiled quails egg, with black pudding ‘soldiers’
  • Smoked cheddar, cayenne pepper and mustard rarebit
  • Citrus, parsley and crab fishcake, pickled cucumber
  • Roasted butternut squash, goats cheese and filo tartlet

  • The Middle

  • Pea, smoked gammon and potato chowder, poached duck egg
  • Pan seared skate, chorizo and tomato dressing
  • Breast of English pigeon, braised red cabbage
  • Partridge, goats cheese and wild mushroom potted pie
  • Cumin roasted red onion, set on ginger, apricot and chilli cous-cous
  • Boar, wild game and truffle faggot, quince caramel
  • Confit of Gressingham duck leg, honey roasted sweet potato
  • Pan seared medallion of cod, brown shrimp and mustard dressing
